Pertronix and spark plug gap

Post by georgeramos »

Just received my pertronix ignitor and flame thrower coil from AutoRicambi and I was wondering if I could/should increase my plug gap when going to the much hotter spark. If so how much?

thanks

My mechanic installed NGK Iridium plugs to go along with the new Pertronix ignition. Runs great.

No. Not yet. I have not had a chance to check it out. It seems to happen to some cars and not to others. My car was a 1974 with dual points. Maybe there is something unique to this application.
