Power window stuck

I have an 83,2000 with power windows, my passenger side window is stuck in the down position. when I use the switch to raise it the motor just clicks,anybody have any ideas on what I can do to fix the problem? Thanks!

Hi,

First up, swap over the switches between the driver and passenger sides to determine if it's the switch or the motor.

I my case it was the contacts in the switch that had gone due to old age ! - Buy a new switch.

Have you checked the window regulator cable - has it been damaged or broken ?

I tried what you said and sure enoughthe down position was not working on one side. Thanks !
