Post by paris »

Ok, I'm replacing upper and lower ball joints on my 78 spider. I was able to replace uppers with a hammer and a spreader fork, but the bottoms are have a rivet or stud in them do I driil these out? if so what kind drill do I use and type of bit? can Ipack bearing grease inthe joints or is there aspecial grease I should use? :?:

you can drill them out, or grind them off or use a chisel. Drilling will be the slowest way to get them out. Wheel bearing grease is alittle different than chassis grease but if you can get it in to the joint at least it will lubricate it
