I've asked a few times, but no answer. So out to the community I go...

Can anyone tell me how to change my avatar picture , I've since sold the one pictured and purchased a different one, different color. When I try to post a picture I get a notice that the size is too large. I thought I knew how to do it but alas I am lost

You need a photo editor to shrink the picture to the size it needs to be. You may have a setting on your digital camera that will get you close to that size. The picture will be horribly pixelated that small, but dont worry about it. I think in the Avatar section it mentions the maximum size it can be.

yes, I had the same problem, and I just kept shrinking the pic size until it was accepted by the site. It ends up incredibly small, but it quite surprisingly looks ok.
