Just negotiate my first Spider purchase

After several years of kicking tires, found my first spider.

1981 with CD134 wheels. (I still have the CD19 rims I bought last year)

Clean low mileage car that will require a respray. Looks rust free and was rust proofed when new. 2nd owner replaced all rubber things, bushings.

Comes with a second set of rims.

I plan to re trim the seats in leather.

Selling my low milage 79 X1/9. 10k original rust free car. Trying for $10k. Nero black with respray.

This should be a fun summer project.

I'd like to have the respray done by the end of May. If required, trim within a couple weeks after.

Any recommendations on paint prep and respray, would like to just seal and reaspray with good two component paint. I want to keep the stock luster versus the 2" thick clear coat look.

Steering wheel also needs rewrap... Anyone know who mfg the steering wheels for spider?
