Hmmm flashdrive

Does any one know if you can use a flash drive on a iPad, or samsung note pad

iPad's dont have USB or SD card slots, so its a definite no there.

I would suspect that the samsung is the same, but they might have a SD card slot. Are you talking USB flash drive, or a SD card like what goes in your camera?

I don't know about Samsung, but my cheapo android tablet has both usb and sd connectors.

You can get an SD Card adaptor as well as a USB adaptor for an iPad which will allow you to load photos to an iPad - or to transfer photos from your iPad. You can't use them to move data, though.

I know nothing about android devices.

my samsung S4 has a usb adaptor cable (has like a camera plug on one end). I can upload and download anything on my laptop.

I got a apple and Samsung , I know there no port but thought there may be a way with a adapter thu the charging port

What do you want to do, Jim? If you want to upload and download photos from your iPad, for example, either the SD card adaptor or the USB adaptor will allow you to do that.

So USB adapter will plug in where, ? Only place there is a port would be the charger

the charger port is also your upload/download port. when you upload, it does take some looking to find where the phone stores it. You can also charge your phone with the usb cable plugged into a computer as well.
