70s 124 spider on TV

Post by Boris61 »

Just saw a mid 70s 124 on a Chasing Classic Cars re-run from 2009. About 10 min. in. The episode featured a toy electric car called the Bimbo Racer. The Fiat was a work in progress. I was hoping they would show it restored at the end, but they did not. But the toy car brought $15.25k for autism research!

I think that Spider was Wayne's Dad's project.

It was.
Wayne's father mentioned something about Wayne having to paint his Fee-Yaught (with heavy emphasis on the second syllable) in exchange for him working on the Bimbo Racer toy car.
