i'm getting a very slow leak from the underside of the distributor cap. after running the car for a while, a single drop will form and splash down on the manifold. when i run my finger under the cap, it comes up with a very fine film of what appears to be oil.
does the cap need tightening? if so how? if not, is there an o-ring or something that needs to be replaced?

Re: distributor oil leak
There is an o-ring, but it is on the shaft. The oil that drips from the distributor works it's way up the distributor's shaft and leaks out of the housing on to the exhaust. A common problem, but pretty easy to fix. IAP has a couple of videos showing how to do this, here's one.

There are others out there, too. A quick search on youtube for "Fiat distributor rebuild" will turn up several.
