Does Anyone Know This X/19?

Post by sptcoupe »

The car is apparently in Hayward. Is it as nice as it looks? Is it known by anyone in the area? Thanks.

That's a sharp car! Good thing it's too far away.

Hey there Denise! Been a while since you have been around, but I knew Sam would draw you out!

Looks like a really nice car to me, but I am a novice when it comes to X's (both the cars and wives). Did you notice the exhaust? Were dual tips standard for that year??

That thing is a beaut, Jeff, but I seriously doubt anything but the interior is standard. My 86 has just a little weinee pipe coming out from underneath.

Duel tips are not standard. Its a shame there are no engine pics in the ad. Id assume its a stock set up.

There are some pics of the engine bay. All I see is a free-flow filter.

Just heard from the seller. He says it is a custom exhaust that uses a Camaro muffler. I'm liking this car more every day!

Sounds like you will be enjoying it every day now eh...
has the engine been "tweeked" or still relatively stock?
At a car show in North Van I saw a X with a turbo kit installed...

The head has been worked, a 35/75 cam installed, a custom exhaust installed, but otherwise stock. I'm sure I'll be reaching out to the X gurus for help. The only SOHC FIAT we have owned was a 1972 128 2 door coupe. with a 1.3 liter in Euro trim (this was in Spain in the early 70's).
