3 POINT SEAT BELTS IN A 76' SPIDER

I just bought a 1976 124 spider that has the useless rear seat.
Stock configuration is a 2 point lap belt.
Has anyone installed 3 point seatbelts in this model without removing the
existing rear seat?

I also have a 76 and I converted mine to 3 point. I purchased the newer version rear seats with the seat belt pass through openings. Works great!
