Spyders in the Garden! In 2012 the LA County Arboretum held its first in garden special display of unique automobiles. The event featured Shelby Cobras and was called Serpents in the Garden. This year the focus will be Spyders or should we say Spiders. The event is designed to bring together two worlds. Seeing vintage classic cars set by themselves in a garden setting fascinates both the nature lover and the car-a-holic. The event even has a special challenge for kids. A scavenger hunt sends the kids looking for answers to questions located at each car. Another one for the kids is a chance to have their picture taken (by their parents) sitting in a mini spyder car. Kids can learn about spiders of the eight-legged variety, during the World Famous Spider Show. Shows:12, 1, 2 pm
