roll bar question
does anyone know or any roll bars that will still allow lapbelts in the back and won't get in the way too much for getting back there? i'm thinking of this for my 1975 so that my little kids (5 and 6 years old) can occasionally ride in the back for short distances. any pictures would be great. thanks.

Re: roll bar question
I am not sure re. rear belts, but I have had roll bar nightmares. The only one that fits properly is the Autopower bars.If you opt for a ''custom'' unit, make sure you see it installed before purchase. I have deleted my rear seat, but looking at my car it looks like rear belts would not be interfered with by Autopower bar.Good luck

Re: roll bar question
I have a roll bar without a rear set and I see no problem with rear set belts and the roll bar. I not so sure that there will be room for to child seats though, But them my grand children are in High School so I am not up to date on child sets.

Re: roll bar question
My roll bar is a home built roll bar. I got it cheap and happy with it, but if I built m own I would build it different. It would cost me more for the tubes than what I paid for it.

Re: roll bar question
I recently bought an Autopower roll bar. I called them because I couldn't find one for sale, but the guy I talked to was great, said they had the pattern/jig and were happy to make me one. In my 79 installation requires slight modification to back seat but it stays and the seat belts stay. I bet if you call Autopower they can help, I found them very helpful. I have not installed mine yet the point about slight seat modifications is what the installation instructions that came with the bar tell me to do.
