bleeding brakes

my spider is ready to enjoy the dutch weather (we have sunshine here to .....sometimes )
but all i have to do is bleeding the brakes. I use a easybleedsystem and that works perfect, and there is no more air coming out of the brakelines, and the pedal feels reasonably hard .But when i start the engine the pressure is dropping and i almost can push the pedal to the ground. what am i doing wrong???
on former cars (fiat 500) i never had a problem with bleeding the brakes.but they also haven't got a brakeenhancer(or how dou you call that thing under the hood where the master brake cilinder is on?)

who has any tips????

Did you support the rear axle when you bled the rear brakes? You may still have air in the system or you may have a malfunctioning master cylinder.

If the brake booster was faulty, then you would not have any power assist, and the pedal would be hard to push. You must still have air in the lines. This is almost normal as it takes some time and approiate cursing to bleed Spider brakes! Like Denise says...She is the smartest blonde i know! ( and the shortest )

jack up both rear wheels at the same time, and stick a jack stand on both sides of the axle before you attempt to bleed the rear brakes.

I've found just jacking the rear isn't good enough. I disconnect the link to the compensator and tie it up as high as it will go to allow full flow to the rear calipers. The pedal should drop once the engine is started, that shows the booster is working.

i haven't tried jacking up the axle and also push the the link form the compensator as far as it will go
i'll try that and let you all know if it works
