Rear brake pistons

Post by digitech »

Changing out the pads/rotors on the rear of my '79 and I need to get the pistons retracted back in - I forget if they both get screwed back in CW or if one is CW and the other is CCW.

Thanks, I finally got it - Had to rig up a tool to screw them in with. The driver's side was tough to screw in but the pass side was a breeze.

then you maybe are going to have a caliper problem, if it goes in hard, then there is a seal issue or a brake hose not letting pressure out, check the temperature of that rotor vs the one on the other side after you drive it a bit,
