I never realized how much the Pininfarina designed Fiat Spider looked like the Pininfarina designed 1964-66 Ferrari 275 GTS.

To bad we didn't get the V12, 270HP engine. Of course then, most (if not all ) of us would not be driving one. The average sales price is almost a half million dollars.

I have seen them parked side by side.The Ferrari is so much bigger,but the similarities are really evident.Both works of art by Pininfarina!

Both works from the same designer at Pininfarina - Tom Tjaarda.

My Fiat book states that this was definitely the inspiration for our great little car. Makes sense.
