Pics from last weekend's Texas Hillcountry meet

Post by vandor »

We had a great meet last weekend in the Austin, TX area. Trackday on Friday morning, auto museum Friday afternoon and a great drive on Saturday.

It's not for sale :-)
A guy named Mark out of Houston. He had a total resto done on it and it has a beautiful leather interior.
Has good A/C too!

Thanks! Hardtop hasn't been off in 4 years. One could say I should have bought a Coupe :-)

Ha! You know me too well, although I have since given up finding another Coupe, so I'm just an admirer now.

Nice that your son is enjoying the car with you. No worries without a rollbar?

I do worry, but I have not had time to do anything about it...
A rollbar is in the plans. It will have to be a custom made one to maximize interior space.

It was a great weekend - and thankfully the wife is now a complete convert to the Way of the Spider :) (plus she's loves your son Csaba!)

The hard-top look really is nice... although given that my very-aged soft top finally gave up on the weekend, a new one is required!
