Carpet and Trim Placement

Post by bobbo52 »

Hello, I need a little help with replacing my trim pieces after replacing carpet. Not sure why I didn't take pictures before but I didn't. Here is a picture of where I am at in this process. I did replace the door weather stripping. Is this the way the trim goes?

Not sure if mine is the same as yours (1974), but here is a photo of my trim before I stripped the interior.

the rounded part of the trim goes over the gasket and the flat part on the carpet
