Im looking for the "blue" factory service manual that would include my '71 Spider. I mistakenly bought one off ebay that has the 124 series but only includes the sedan and special...
condition isnt important as long as all pages are there.
thanks

Re: WTB:Factory Service Manual
Csaba,
The online manual covers '75 to '82 models while George is looking for one to cover the '71 model year. I also had this dilemma for my 1973 and was not able to find anything online for the older ones. However, I found the official blue shop manual with the supplements for the coupe and spider, although this is also not complete it seems. I don't think there was an all-encompassing shop manual for the early spiders (correct me if I am wrong).
Also, the Fiat publication "print numbers" are extremely confusing since my large book has several print numbers referenced in it. I think the entire publication is print number 502.483 since that is the first reference in the book, but there are other print numbers shown with the other sections, including 502.803 (1971 reimpression of 502.631), 502.978 (1973), 502.393 (1972). The front page also states that the manual is a supplement to 502.243 (124 Special) and 502.479 (124 SPORT Coupe and Spider).
Does anyone know how to decipher all these factory shop manual print numbers? Is the 502.479 publication covering the Coupe and Spider worth getting and has anyone ever seen one? Or should we just use the 75-82 pdf file?
Thanks,
Brian
Edit: I just found this at Chris Obert's site: http://www.fiatplus.com/1967-74-shop-ma ... 86729.html
Has anyone purchased this for their Spider? Does it include the 502.479 (it's not too clear in the description)?

Re: WTB:Factory Service Manual
I have a Fiat Spider Service manual that is in a blue 3 ring binder.
At the bottom of the binder is: print No. 3393
I believe it covers 1975-1982 Fiat Spiders
In some places it states "1981 and on" but has nothing on the rack steering the later models used.
I know nothing about Fiat Manuals just thought maybe the number could be helpful to someone.

Re: WTB:Factory Service Manual
I'm not certain, but I think that's the one I bought. I have the 75-82 manual, which is excellent and well-structured.
This manual is actually three different documents which I find difficult to easily glean information from. The base document appears to be "The Fiat 124/124 Special Shop Manual" print 502.393. This has an addendum (502.296) "124 Sports Roadster and Coupe Specifications and Features Servicing Instructions." That has a further supplement "124 Sedan/Station Wagon, 124 Sporte Coupe/Spider USA Versions" print number 502.483.
Information is spread among the three and I find it somewhat confusing. Generally I consult my 75-82 manual and the Brooklands book for my 74 and only delve into this manual set when doing something that is more subtle and detailed information differs.

Re: WTB:Factory Service Manual
Hello, I have been reading this group for some time but am new to posting. I am looking for a factory manual that would cover 1970-1971 spiders. The post I see are quite dated and wonder if there is anything new out there in this regard.
