Re: floor insulation
Look like this is the stuff to use. And you don't have to figure out which side goes up, since it has the reflective aluminum on both sides.

Re: floor insulation
It took me only one roll. FYI,
I installed mine left the heat shields off for a bit and the floor never got hot directly over the cat. I would highly recommend this product.

Just one roll is all I needed. Had some left over for the trunk area

Hi,
Me too: One roll. I did it over sound mat.
No heat whatsoever from the outside in.
Ciao,
Mark

Re: floor insulation
Did you guys use the tape that they sell or something else. And please talk about how you adhered it to the floor (and other surfaces). I know some use spray adhesive, and some just lay it down without any adhesive.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: floor insulation
for mine I simply cut it to fit, then laid it in, then put my home made carpeting onto then rubber mats et voila
Nothing has moved or bunched up since
The last thing I wanted to do was to re-do all the tar/carpet removal I had just done in future years

Hi,
Spray adhesive for me, in case I didn't like it.
I have a roll of Jute if anyone needs it.
