I am sorry if my other post went through and I'm asking this twice. I can't get my oil pan past my crank shaft pulley.
I think I posted a picture

Well i guess the picture thing didn't work. I also forgot to mention the year of my car. It is a 73 and should have either a 1592 or 1608 engine in it. After I solve this problem I think i will be able to clean off the engine enough to finally figure out what I have in there. It is a filthy mess right now.

First off why are you removing the OIL Pan its not coming off with the engine in the car,??
Oil pan should drop straight down. Pry with a flat head screw driver all around not just in one spot. Why are you removing the OIL Pan? YOur going to have jack up the motor in order to get it off. I would asume you really need pull the engine..
Grabed your photo BTW
