Wow Factor!

Post by wizard124 »

Not a Fiat, but a terrific example of TLC. Just want to share a thing of beauty with people who love cars and put in their own time and effort and scraped knuckles.

A few years back, one of my boys was on a Little League team, when one of the dads drove to a game in a cherry TR6. I always loved the looks of that car but I couldn't afford it then (and probably can't now).
With the stash of stuff that I acquired with my Fiat purchase, was an old workshop manual for Triumphs. So, I thought of that dad (darn, I couldn't even begin to remember his name :? ) and knew he would appreciate the book. Yesterday at tryouts, I handed him the book. We got to talking. He invited me up to see his current project. 3 years in the making. Completely stripped and soda blasted, pieced back together, painted in a beautiful mettalic gray (an original color option)..a stunningly gorgeous 67 Jag E type.
