I painted the door Jams and inside of the doors today. So I can put them back on before I paint the car. I figured it would be easier to paint the car that way.

Interested to know what type of equipment your using, gun, compressor etc also what king of paint. Its so pricey here in CA to get anything painted was thinking of starting to do it myself.

looks like it would be a bit rough keeping the bugs and dirt off painting outside. But I know its been done a lot before. Just hose down the dirt and paint early in the morning :D

Right before I paint I use some stuff called "Prep All" wipe it down it drys in minutes I mix my paint while its drying I spay. Yes mid morning is great time too paint. This time year in Florida I have no problems with bugs or wind.

Also with single stage paint it drys to the touch in about 45 minutes.....leaves a nice shine as the clear coat is already in the paint.

Added a couple of things back into the engine bay. I have cue tip paint and touch up the bolt heads. Its really to early to start adding anything back in. I will wait for a few weeks let the paint harden up more before I do anymore.
