Could KYB white shocks raise the car ?

My car seams to be really high and was thinking of cutting the springs but when I went under the car to investigate the shocks look like they were white . I am thinking that they are white KYB gas-a-just shocks . I have heard that they can damage the shock towers and was thinking maybe that's why the car is so high , if I change the shocks could it go back to the original ride hieght ?

I put those on my Spider and they raised the ride height about 1" - 2". If I were going to keep it I would replace them with non-gas shocks.

yep, the white KYBs will raise your car

It raised my 71 1" from using Konis

Pulled those bad boys out today hoping that when I put it the new shocks I will be back to stock just hopeing the springs are original .
