1975 Spider color code

The 1975 spider I am restoring is at my parents place till I move it down to So Cal. There are no keys so I had my dad read the vehicle label to get spares. Turns out the color code is 223. I could not find a 1975 spider color code so I broadened my search and found this:

Manufacturer: Fiat
Colour/Year: GIALLO PAGODA(1973/1973)
Colour Code: 223

Is it possible the car was custom factory painted to and earlier years color?

The car has been repainted but I could see areas that were still a faded off yellow. A google image search shows a off yellow, but interestingly all on Alfa Romeo.
