Carpet Dyeing

Just a thought... Has anyone had any success at dyeing their carpets? I have tan carpets and am changing over to charcoal, but the carpets are in good shape, so I am wondering how successful it might be to just dye them, and save the cost of purchasing a new set?

The SEM dyes seem to work very well.I have never dyed the carpets but have seen several that were done with excellent reults.

I may give it a shot. I would expect that going from tan to charcoal would be an easy color change. Save a lot of dough for sure. With floor mats it would likely hold up pretty well. (?)

Orrrrrrr, hear me out, now...

... you can just transport my kids around for a year. Dirty little demons will turn any carpet black.

not sure how much the dye costs however, another option (cost me $40) is to make your own
