Threshold Plate Captive Nuts

Post by opus10583 »

Hi,

Among the casualties of my spring re-carpet etc. were the door threshold trim mounting screws and their plastic captive nuts; some of which shattered when I removed them, some simply turned to dust when exposed to light.

The screws are easy enough, does anyone know of a source or an effective replacement for the nuts?

Thanks,
Mark

Got mine from Napa auto parts. Are not identical but work perfect for me. They look like square plugs

I know I had some at one point and sold a few. Let me see if I have more.

Hi Matt,

Thanks! Although I'm pretty sure I can find them around here.
