I'm looking at getting my 1st Fiat. This one looked nice for the price ($5900). Any thoughts based on the pictures would be much appreciated.

Looks to be in great condition. Check all the hidden spots for rust, shock towers, rocker panels, floor pans, especially passenger side, etc. Examine every single thing electrical, all gauges, etc working, wiring looks good, no corrosion, etc. These cars can be a wiring disaster in the making. There is a pretty good buyers guide at mirafiori.com I think. All gears shift smoothly, engine smooth with good compression, then..... Whether this one is priced properly I can't/won't comment on, since it varies greatly around the country, but here in New England, a really good one will bring $5,000.

Based on the photos and the way they are presented my gut feeling is that you are looking at a vehicle that has been well appreciated and looked after. You will get a better vibe once you start speaking with the owner. Good luck with it all
