Clock has quit working, glass is clouded, and set knob is stripped. Is repair possible?

A gentleman on here going by the ID of "radioman" used to do some fantastic restoration work on these, but he has apparently gone elsewheres as an IM to him has yet to be opened.
Others have found newer clocks the same OD as a replacement. My preferred option is to replace it with a much more useful gauge. After all, if we're off on a cruise on curvy roads with the top down and the sun shining, do we really care what time it is??

Nick did wonderful clock and gauge restorations. He is working overseas right now. Not sure if he is taking any work.

Nick did beautiful work. He repaired and restored my clock then did all the other instruments for me.
His work took him to China, and who knows, maybe he's moved onto other interests.
But RRoller found an outfit that did his clock for $70 bucks or so. Here's the link.

Yeah: Palo Alto Speedometer. Great service, reasonable price.

you can buy a brand new VDO clock that matches the gauges for about $50
