ok so i have started my project to clean up the fiat and make it just look nicer inside and out. i dont want to do much to change the car but i have to something about the colors. so i started today with the inside and went to a fabric store and bought so new black fabric for the the center consoles. wrapped the upper console this morning. i know there some wrinkles but i am going to try and fix it before i install it, but i might have to re-wrap the whole thing again.

this is inspiring to see 8) what material did you use? I could use the same type of clean up as my center console is all chipped up

i used this fake suede from Jo-anns fabric for about $15 for 2 yards. the upper part of the console looks good but i had problems with the lower console. i got alot wrinkles but parts of it looked nice. im going to rewrap it again on my next weekend. for the most part filling in the missing parts of the console was easy just spayed some great stuff (foam) and carved it down to what i needed it to be than finished with some 80 grit sandpaper.

$200  Is this coming from the moon, or are you ordering enough to do a fleet of cars? :? I paid approx. $40 and had enough to do whole car including trunk and had some left over :|

i did find the carpet that would of cost me $40 and looked at it but it looked like when the made it had some grey left and put it
in the black carpet. maybe it was just a bad roll or something like that but i didnt like the color of black i want in the car. the carpet i found is a carbon black and really nice looking, but $21 sq yard. heres the link to the carpet, but looks ten times better at the store. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R ...
