Fiat Mechanic in NW WI?

Post by miliff »

Hi all,

I have been working on my 82 to get her up and running. There are a few things that I can't seem to put my finger on and was wondering if anyone knows of a good mechanic in NW WI about an hour east of the Twin Cities?

When I crank the key the injectors stay wide open. Which floods the car and the car dies. I have put a noid light on the injector wire, and it will pulse for about 5 seconds and then the light is solid.

The pulse signal comes from the ECM (ground) but only after the ECM recieves a signal from the coil wire? I am SURE someone will correct me. But, grab Brad's wiring diagram and check. Other than that there is a signal from the TPS for wide open injectors to the ECM. The adjustment for the TPS is simple (the shop manual has the adjustment procedure). I will be more than happy to check my wiring diagrams tonight if no one else chimes in before then.
