Fan..now this funny

Post by Divers »

So...while I am waiting and praying for my dual relay...decided to see why my heater fan did not work. Took out the schematics and tried to find the wires that go to the fan. After an hour of pulling my hair out, dropped the heater box and to my embarasment.....there is no fan installed. The PO must have removed.

Least it explains why I could not find the wires

I hear ya  When I first got Fiona I wanted to do an oil change and transmission flush etc. I had a hard time locating the transmission fluid dip stick, so much so that I even posted help on this forum only to be told there was none

That's right about the transmission dipstick. We don't need one because we just wait until we hear funny noises and then we know it is low on fluid.

Simply: Manual transmissions don't have dipsticks, automatics do. There was no automatic in 1970. FIAT used the Chevette automatic transmission. Chevettes came out in 1977, So the FIAT Automatics were after that. 1978 or 79?
