I remember reading that article when it came out. I always thought the 0-60 in 10.1 was very optomistic, as i could never come close to that in my 70.

Oh great....I just paid $10 on eBay to get the Road & Track article on the "new" 1608 Spider. Will scan and post here later. Most amusing learn - my speedo is a good 5mph over actual speed, and I was hoping to figure out why someday and fix. In the R&T article - brand new Spider and speedo is 5mph over. Go figure.
