side wind wing

has anyone here ever thought about or has removed the wind wing ............I'm thinking about removing the wind wing and installing a new cut window that fits the whole area and if I put in the auto-loc bosch motor for power windows I think it will fit....(no need then for window regulator room).....Mark .......anybody..........comments please

I see spiders with no wings. Dont know if they are not using door glass. from looking at the door interior, this is some stuff in the way like the hinge boxes that may make it difficult. Just read a blog where one of us was complaining about the lack of interior air flow without the wings and the early style under dash vents.

the 84 ans 85 doors have the fixed windows in them
and big plastic mirrors too
like the one above on the top of the page
when you do everything correct people arent sure youve done anything at all (futurama)

Yep. My goal is to remove the side mirrors and glass and replace with just a solid peice of glass. Then I want to mount mirrors on the doors.
