replica Grp4 Abarth Rally Blog back up and running

Post by murrayarnold »

Sorry to anyone who found logging on to my blog that there was nothing to see. I had auto upload set to "on" and the Picsali (spelling*) uploaded my blog photos and images to my phone. So i was selling my phone and deleted all photos from my phone which unknown to me, deleted them from my blog. So then i cant find the originals and have to dig through a million emails to find the originals. Well guess what, i could not find them all, ahhhhh. Plus work has been overwhelming and getting time to redo it over the last couple of months has been impossible. So finally I am back on line and by the end of today you will see a fantastic process with the car finally out the paint shop. I have still loads in the post from Mark Allisons shop and from Demon Tweeks in the UK and from Gulf oil who are kindly donating me the decals for the car. Good guys there i think.

So please log on and enjoy and leave comments. I have got like, 400 photos so tried my best to add the ones that show good progress. I will add more photos again. i still have the complete interior to do so hopefully that will turn out good.

thanks Mark. Just cant wait to get all the stuff I have bought from yourself under the hood. I have done a deal with a friend up the coast who runs the Croatian Spider Club. He wants my old 1800 hood and i want his Abarth rocker covers. So we are doing a straight swap. Keeps life simple. So i will paint them light blue and have the Abarth name in Topaz orange to match the outside. I think that will be good touch. If you have any other ideas for the car Mark, please let me know. But to be honest I think I have got everything I can without going over the top.
I was considering the hard top but now i see the car finished with the soft top I will leave it. Anyway, open top driving where I now live can be done 12 months of the year.

Once again, and as always thanks for your assistance.
