So what turned out to be replacing the seats and carpets for my sons school project we decided it was time for a makeover. When I say we it really means me cause my wife didn't really care. Anyways the seats did not want to line up properly with the rails so I hired a body man to help me out. Him and I got talking about body work and he thought to himself that it would be an easy fix...ha ha ha ha. So after agreeing on a price I tore the car down and gave it to him, quarter panel replacement, modify front and rear bumpers to fit from a 72, and rust repair. Well what was suppose to be a 3 week job took 5 and what he thought was an easy job was actually far more of a bear. Long story short he stuck to his price and I flipped him an xtra $300. for all the xtra work. Got the car back put all the pretties back on including interior and started driving this last Sunday. Got the first 400 Kilometers on the car already and its only been 4 days, got to make up time for the short Manitoba summer. Anyone interested in seeing the restoration just follow the link to the pictures. (And Now that it's done my wife cares lol) Cheers Rob

Cool paint job! Gives it a little bit of a Corvette feel.

Looking at the hood and door handles, that is a late '78. I've got one in that really neat dark maroon colour that needs some serious work.
Nice car, and I like the early bumpers (but what can I say, I drive a '69).
