I hope you're driving the Spider before drinking the beer. Tough to drive the Spider here in So Cal, temps have been 107F for the last 3 days and supposed to be 108F today.

Mid 70's today, in the fifties this morning. Had to wear a long sleeved T-shirt till mid-morning. Sadly the Spider is still in pieces. Still, it's 3 days off. Cheers all.

I had planned on taking the Spider for a cruise this weekend, but I was afraid the tires would melt into the asphalt!

We managed to get the '78 out for a lengthy cruise on Sunday. Left the county for ice cream early afternoon, stopped by a new-to-us Italian car service center and left a message; saw many old classics rusting away in the yard. Had our ice cream and returned via the long way!!

Ahhh, the entire afternoon with the wife, in a perfectly functioning Spider, on some truly picture perfect roads. Even managed a visit through a covered bridge.

Yes, we drove more hours during the weekend than we wrenched.

Huh? It's not? You lost me again, Mark. Maybe I'm sniffing too many lacquer fumes.
