Removing CenterDash Section

Can someone detail: How does the center dash section come out? I am reveneering the dash, etc. and will do this section next. Have already done the glove box door and the radio console. Thanks.

If you are looking to just remove the wood pieces to re-veneer, I believe that assembly is held on by the wiper delay and light dimmer variable pot chrome rings if memory serves me correctly.

Yes thanks! That is a very easy removal, just spin off the decorative nuts holding in the dimmer and WW speed knobs, and the center panel comes right off. So now I've got the glovebox door and dash center section and radio section newly veneered in Madrone Burl, and the original shifter knob stripped, stained in "chestnut"/poly and re-installed. Instrument cluster and shift console veneer remain to be done.
