Monte Shelton Northwest Classic Rally
The recent edition of our BC Automobile Association quarterly magazine "Westworld" had a story about the Monte Shelton Northwest Classic Car Rally out of Portland Oregon. One of the pictures had a very nice red, small bumper Fiat with Oregon plates and a license plate holder which read "Portland - Thelin and Blake. Anybody we know??

dont know about the fiat, but spent a lot of time watching Monte tear up the track.

That is my 1972 124 Spider Sport. We went on to WIN the Monte Shelton NW Classic Rally that year (2011). Competing again for the 5th time this year. Finished 2nd two years ago after leading the first day.... In 2012 we broke the speedo cable on the odometer calibration transit, but managed to take a respectable 5th overall with only the tachometer and a temperature gauge... Great little car.
