Glove box won't shut

Took my glove box apart and now it won't lock without getting the knob so stuck that I'm afraid to turn it. I get it open with the aid of a screwdriver. Can someone with a good working setup send me detailed pics of how their glove box "stop" is installed? Maybe I put mine in wrong. Not sure how but you never know.

usually when this happens, the latch on the top of the box is too deep in the box. need to loosen the screws and pull it out. also look to see if it is too low and binding on the box knob.
