I wanted to get the Spider ready for paint for on Monday. I put in a 12.5 hour day on Saturday doing "this and that". The bodywork was done, but I had other things to work on.
I got all the wiring for the dashboard straightened out and all the lights and gauges working and got the backup lights working. I still have the mystery in-line fuse behind the instrument cluster and two hot wires (one near the steering column that is white/black and one coming from the red harness in the center dash that is yellow/black) that I haven't figured out yet since everything else works...schematics haven't helped yet but I'll try after getting the car back from the paint shop.
Every muscle in my body is tired, but I'm looking forward to seeing it with paint later this week!!! Pictures to come.

Re: Marathon Day
Sounds like you have a great project going - looking forward to the pics.
I've got an issue with my back-up lights not working. Can you give me an idea of how/what you did to make yours work?
I have a new switch installed in the transmission (manual tranny).
