SOTR - Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
SOTR - Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Was thoroughly enjoying my top down sunny ride between Frederick and Point of Rocks, MD this afternoon in the Spider, until I got stuck behind this enormous farm thing. Double yellow line, windy road, when I noticed the chassis on this monster was a good six feet off the ground and the tires a good six feet apart. Was thinking if I timed it just right.......

There hasn't been one of those around these parts in probably 75 years. LOL. Thank you to all our rural farmers!

I believe that about the only time it is legal to cross a double yellow is when blocked behind a farm vehicle. But I am no expert on rules of the road.
Your imagined scenario would be great in a 3D movie scene, though (from the POV of the driver, of course!).

Driving both the Fiat Spider and my 76 Alfa Spider here in the farming communities around Wichita Ks. I see these on the road quite frequently. Every time I see one I think just what you were. I believe they would both fit and my only concern is the farmer would flip out and move! I've often thought that when I find one standing still and unattended I'd like to test fit to be sure. Kind of a fun thought though, huh.
