Insulating cold air intake, anyone ever use this?

Post by surfingfreeman »

Hello all
Trying to figure out a way to keep my "cold air intake" tube cool and I found this product
http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/produ ... stem/62/49
Looks like it might work, guess it all depends how close it is to the header pipe. Thanks
Mike

I was just researched the same thing and found Thermotec.com

They sell an air intake sleeve that fits nicely over the intake tube I bought from Allisons.

it took a little work to lace it up perfectly but so far I'm quite happy with it.

I do not recall. I'll guess and say less than $100 though.
