does anybody have a template for the floorboard in the trunk area? i have a 1979 spider and it did not come with a floorboard. thank you

are you talking the card board? i dont have a templete but i can make one. pm me your address. i was going to make one this weekend to make my new floor. mine are about to turn to dust in the wind.

Anyone know if that's the same shape as the 1981? I am also going to need one. Or fake it... I have my rug and the stiff sides still....

Hey, I would be interested in one. I tried doing it in wood and made...a mess

Someone, can't remember who, had the idea of using the trunk carpet as rough template for a cardboard template and then going from there.

Alright. I'll try that. Is that black plastic thing on the left covering the hoses stock or did you make that?

My 80 has that cover too. It is from the factory.

My 81 might have it. The PO hasn't given me the wood. And may not have it... I can actually fabricate one if I need to.

Real important to protect those hoses from things bouncing around back there!
