The rules say I have to post something so here it is. I've had this car since 85 and I'm have to get it out of the garage it has been stored in. Fortunaely I have some resouces to get started on this project. I have the surity bond and filed paper work for the title. The next step is a car cover that is specific to this car since it won't be able to hang out in a garage for a little while.

You could always start the project by building a whole second garage!!

I do have a question. I had to get a surity bond to get a bonded title because i never received the title on this car when i got it. My question is how long is it going to take, it has already been 4 weeks. I don't want to spend any money on the car until i have the title. I'm in Texas.

If its a 73, it should be a 1592.

my 73 has a 1608, but it is an early 73, it does have the extended bumpers like the 74, but its a 1608 stock

Thats not surprising, Fiat did stuff like that. I had a 71 with the long tail lights, Ive heard some early 71,s had the shorter lights. From what Ive heard, most 73,s had a 1592.

I tried posting the four pictures I took today and it did not work.. I figured out my problem now I think. I did not get to look at the engine because I opened up a nasty cut on my little finger and didn't have anything to clean it with while looking for the hood release lever.



hopefully this thing will be out of the garage and behind my house within a couple of weeks. First step attack with the shop vac.

Thanks 124Joe next time i will have a good flashlight a shop vac and hopefully no cuts on my fingers. This was the first time I've have seen it since 98. I think the body looks like it is in pretty good shape all things considered.

I will be paying the Fiat a visit tomorrow to answer this question. I am curious, are there any tall spider drivers out there? I am 6 ft 2 in.
