First Car Show

Yesterday I took my newly purchased 83 Spider to my first car show in Miami, Fl. It was awesome, I had so many people come by and ask about the car or tell me stories about how they drove one in High School. One person even quoted saying "Now that is a real Fiat". I guess he was referring to the new Fiats out now. I hope you can see the picture below of my car.

Congratulations! I'm afraid you'll have to get used to people stopping you in gas stations and parking lots to talk about their own Spider experience. You'll see a wistful look in their eyes when they conjure up the memories.

Of course, you'll get put-downs from the "Tony" crowd, but true enthusiasts (even British car fans) will wax lyrically about the car's beauty and panache. You'd better bone up on Spider facts and figures, 'cause you'll be asked a lot of questions from civilians.

Nice looking car! I am in the process of printing out a bunch of spec info and model info etc. to put into a binder to take along to shows/cruise nights, as I get a lot of questions too. We are the "Ambassadors of the Past". <{:^)
