Cruise Night Pics 4-19-12 Patriot Place Foxboro MA

Just got back from the first Cruise Night of the year held by the Mass Cruisers at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA. This is also where Bass Pro Shop and Gillette Stadium are. I counted by estimate over 1000 cars, including ONE FIAT, MINE! There were 2 other Italian cars (sort of ...<{:^)) a Pantera and a Bugatti replica. Below are a few pictures and a link to a photobucket.com album with many more. The event was spread out over 3 large parking lots and was jam packed. It was my first CN of the season and I was amazed by the great machines people brought out!





Here is my 1980 Spider 2000 FI



The Spider generated a lot of interest, mostly from people who owned them in the past. A lot of chatting up was done! One fellow just bought one yesterday locally (a '78) for $200 and is going to start restoring it this weekend. Here are two fellows who both used to own Spiders, I promised to put their pic up on the Forum so here it is!

what'd they do, put you in the junk section. looked at the car next door and the ford and chevy behind you. not exactly show material

LOL, as I was driving in, I asked the fellow if there was a section for Italian cars, etc. He said no, there are too many cars, they have to just park them as they arrive; luck of the draw. The only segregation is for the Corvettes, because there are so many of them (probably over 200 is my guess). The kids next to me were having a blast. Young bucks, probably High School age, who were absolutely devoted to their car, had all sorts of modifications under the hood and the interior etc, and had many people, and quite a few young chippies I might add, coming by and chatting them up! God bless 'em. <{:^)

But you know this event is almost too big. We went over to Millis last Saturday night, with maybe 50 cars and it was much more calm and manageable. A beautiful 1973 V12-Jag XK hardtop came in and immediately parked next to the Spider; "Might as well be with the only other foreign car here!". A good time was had by all.
