Took a little wire wheel work and body filler, but I was able to clean it all up and decided to go the lazy route and not worry about trying to match the paint. I like the way the black works down there.

Cleaned up some corrosion today
Take a look at the right rocker panel. When I removed it, I found it to be worse than it appeared.
Took a little wire wheel work and body filler, but I was able to clean it all up and decided to go the lazy route and not worry about trying to match the paint. I like the way the black works down there.

Roy, I did the same with mine. Kinda looks like a shadow,and any dirt is noticable but I like the black as well.

i removed my crome trim and found that the screws started the rust
at that point i decided i would use stainless steel screws for everything that needs screws
and i stoped the rust asap
