Gathering Decals for reproduction

Post by Mark_vaughn »

Hey Everyone!

If you have original decals, such as the smog sticker and the sticker on the air intake, and any other original stickers...

I would like a picture of them!! I am going to have my Spider painted at some point and I would like to have NEW stickers to put back on and not have them tape around the existing ones. I write insurance for several commercial printers so I think I can find someone to print them up on some type of laminated sticker material for myself, and anyone who wants them.

Make the pictures high quality and taken directly in front of the sticker, not at an angle. Send them via e-mail to mark_vaughn@hotmail.com and put "Fiat Stickers" in the subject. Include the year of the car they came off of for organizing purposes. I will clean up with photoshop before printing.

I know there are a few places out there that sell some of the stickers for a nice penny, but wouldn't it be better to have one sheet with them all on there and not cost a fortune?

I used to do insurance inspections, and the company had furnished me with a polaroid camera with an attachment that fit the door stickers and took a perfect photo. too bad I didn't think of using it on every Fiat that came in with good stickers

just a thought. i think pictures taken should be shot with a tape measure or ruler right next to the sticker, to get the correct size when reproduced. i would shoot a square sticker twice, with the ruler on the different sides.

Check this out, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fiat-600 ... QQtcZphoto

I've seen the sticker package for a 124 spider at this store before, but it is not currently listed. Send him an e-mail.

restoration decals

Here it is. I knew somebody had it. $42 is a bit pricy for stickers, how much will it cost to make them? If you just right click the picture and save as, you might have what you need.

Given the availability of the reproduction stickers at an acceptable price I am not pursuing the project any longer.
