Dremel tool defense
Dremel tool defense
While working on my Spider (and almost anything else, for that matter), I rely heavily on my good friend, the Dremel tool. While reading posts, I noticed that it was mentioned that the Dremel wasn't up to some tasks because the cutting wheels kept breaking. Be advised that, besides a ton of attachments, there are 3 different cutting wheels available. First there's the light duty ones in the container with the red top, then a heavier duty one (about twice the thickness) in the gray topped container, and then there's the kick-butt black cutting wheels for serious duty. If you can destroy one of the black ones, then you probably should have used a milling machine in the first place. Good driving and good Dremeling.
Re: Dremel tool defense
I've shortened a stock Fiat exhaust pipe with a Dremel. Not the ideal tool but it worked.
