This is a link to a video my son made of our drive today. We did so folks could hear a Spider with a Supertrapp. 1971 with stock 1608. We had fantastic day filming the beautiful Old Columbia Highway, stopping for hot chocolate etc. My wife was bummed she had to work.

Your car sounds great. Especially for having the stock carb. I still suggest the Websr 32 x 36 series with a free-flow air cleaner for the improved induction sound.
I don't have any audio of my Fiat Spider, but the audio of my recently parted with Alfa Spider is my favorite of any car I've ever had. It had twin side-drafting Webers and s side exiting Monza exhaust. Here's 2 links:
